Chelsea have confirmed captain John Terry has signed a new one-year deal with the club.
The 35-year-old has agreed to fresh terms following discussions between the defender, club owner Roman Abramovich and incoming boss Antonio Conte, the Blues have revealed.
Terry's new contract will take him into his 22nd season with Chelsea and he has expressed his delight at finally putting the speculation surrounding his future to bed.
He told the club's official website: "I am delighted to sign a new contract with the club. Everyone knows I'm Chelsea through and through.
"I am looking forward to next season under the new manager and hopefully we can make it a successful one.
"Also, a special mention to the fans for their continued support. You’re the best in the world."
