Mother of Three Goes Missing After Date With Man She Met Online

Ingrid Lyne, a Washington state mother of three, has been missing since Friday when she never returned from a date with someone she met online, according to reports.

Lyne, who lives in Renton, but works as a nurse at the Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, was reported missing on Saturday by her ex-husband,

reports. Friends and neighbors have reportedly been unable to contact her date, whose identity has not yet been released.

Lyne’s neighbor Edward Franceschina told



’s local sister station – that the last time he saw the woman was before her date, when she went out to check her mail before attending the Seattle Mariner’s opening.

“I don’t know; it’s not good,” Franceschina told the station. “The purse, the telephone and everything was in the house. The longer it goes on, the more you think she’s not coming back.”

, neighbors said that Seattle police had been at Lyne’s house since Saturday evening and spent several hours investigating there. The 40-year-old’s car – a 2015 gray Toyota Highlander with Washington plate AUW3230 – is also missing.

One neighbor, Dawn Early, told KCPQ that the neighborhood is usually quiet, “so it was a little weird to see all the police activity,” as neighbors and officers have been searching the area over the weekend.

Seattle police are expected to hold a press conference about Lyne’s disappearance on Monday at 5:30 p.m. PST.
