You go girl! Cheryl Tiegs made some terrible comments about beautiful size 14 model Ashley Graham being ‘unhealthy’, and on Mar. 2 she totally clapped back at the ex-supermodel, saying ‘whatever’ to her bullying! See what else she said, here.
Ashley Graham, 28, is not letting a little bullying from Cheryl Tiegs, 68, get her down! The gorgeous plus sized model finally responded to Cheryl’s comment that her body weight is “unhealthy” in the chillest way ever: by “rolling her eyes” and saying “whatever!” See her full response, right here.
“Cheryl Tiegs may have said what she said and it may have hurt a lot of peoples’ feelings,” said Ashley to E! News, “but my skin is so thick. I kind of rolled my eyes, I was like, ‘Oh whatever, another one of these ladies.'” The beauty wants to turn the negative into a positive by starting a dialogue about body image. “What’s great is that—the fact that she said it—it means that other women think like her. And what that means is that we really need to change the industry.” If anyone can, it’s Ashley!
Ashley isn’t going to let people push her, or other women, around. “There are too many people thinking they can look at a girl my size and say that we are unhealthy. You can’t, only my doctor can!” Cheryl offered two semi-apologies on Feb. 29, and neither is cutting it. The first said “to clarify re bodyweight: Being anorexic/bulimic/overweight all connected to health problems. I want all to be as healthy as they can.” Which didn’t fly with fans. Then she replaced it with this: “My sincere apologies to everyone I have hurt. I truly just want everyone to be healthy & happy.”
