So sad. More than seven months after she tragically passed away, Bobbi Kristina’s cause of death has been revealed. Find out what the official autopsy report says here.
Bobbi Kristina Brown’s family might finally have a little bit of closure. More than a year after she was found unconscious in a bathtub at her home, Whitney Houston’s daughter’s cause of death has been released by the coroner’s office.
Because Bobbi didn’t die until months after she was found comatose, it took quite some time for the autopsy to be completed. But the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s office revealed in a statement on March 3 that the official cause of death was from death and drug intoxication. It had previously been revealed that alcohol and marijuana were involved in the 22-year-old’s death, along with sedative medications and drugs to treat anxiety.
Bobbi was found unconscious in her bathtub on Jan. 21, 2015, and remained in a coma until her death on July 26. The months in between “complicate the reconstruction of the events surrounding her initial unresponsiveness. Interpretation of autopsy findings and other information will also be challenging. However, an autopsy could be helpful to address questions which may arise about the cause of her unresponsiveness and eventual death,” according to the medical examiner.
