The Leicester City midfielder has enjoyed a superb season for the Premier League leaders and has earned his first Three Lions call-up ahead of clashes with Germany and Netherlands
England manager Roy Hodgson has handed Leicester City midfielder Danny Drinkwater a first international call-up for the upcoming friendlies against Germany and Netherlands.
The Foxes star has impressed for Claudio Ranieri's men thus far this season, with the Foxes leading the Premier League by five points with eight games of the season remaining. And Hodgson has now rewarded the 26-year-old, who began his career at Manchester United, with his first Three Lions call-up, though there is no place for Michael Carrick.
