Gwen Stefani Wants Two Female Judges On ‘The Voice’

Gwen Stefani thinks ‘The Voice’ could use more girl power, and she’d love to join the panel alongside Christina Aguilera to give the boys a run for their money. HollywoodLife.com has EXCLUSIVELY learned that she love to be part of a show first: TWO women coaches!
Blake Shelton, 39, didn’t get his way of having girlfriend Gwen Stefani, 46, back as a fifth coach on season 10 The Voice due to 35-year-old Christina Aguilera‘s return, but what’s holding the show back from having two women on judging panel at the same time? HollywoodLife.com has the EXCLUSIVE scoop on why Gwen thinks viewers would love the idea, as well as the EXCLUSIVE reason from the show’s creator Mark Burnett, 55, as to why it hasn’t happened yet!

“Gwen thinks there should be at least two female coaches on The Voice. She’s always thought that and would be thrilled to be a coach on the show alongside Christina. She has no problem with her at all and thinks the show would benefit from having more female energy, ” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.

“Gwen thinks the viewers and contestants would also welcome the idea. Now the only question is if Christina wants to share the spotlight with another gorgeous woman?” our insider adds. Um, our bet would be likely heck no, as Christina clearly loves being the center of attention as only woman on the panel alongside Blake, Adam Levine, 36 and Pharrell, 42. But if Christina loses this season, wouldn’t it be great to both her AND Gwen judging together in season 11?  Maybe we’d finally see a female coach get a victory.
