PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN'S UNBEATEN RUN OVER AT 36 GAMES ENDED!

PSG slipped up for the first time in close to a year but still continue to dominate Le Championnat and have the opportunity to get back to winning ways in midweek
Paris Saint-Germain's record 36-match undefeated Ligue 1 run was ended by Lyon on Sunday evening.

Laurent Blanc's men were not at their best as they suffered a 2-1 defeat at Parc OL, where the home side raced into the lead through Maxwel Cornet before Sergi Darder added a superb second. Although Lucas Moura pulled one back, PSG could not complete the recovery.

It was a loss that marked their first reverse in Le Championnat since losing 3-2 against Bordeaux on March 15, 2015 - allowing them to build a run that surpassed Nantes' previous record of 34 top-flight matches undefeated.

As a result, they can no longer win the title next weekend, as would have been possible if they had won this clash, yet they remain 23 points clear of second placed Monaco.
