Police Called to Taylor Swift’s House After Suspicious Man Spotted in Driveway

A man was arrested after lurking around Taylor Swift’s house Wednesday afternoon.

According to TMZ, LAPD officers arrived at the Los Angeles property after getting a call from someone in the neighborhood who saw a man wandering around at the bottom of her driveway.
After the police arrived, pictures show the man being put in handcuffs and placed into a police car. Wearing a green jacket and sporting a beard, the man didn’t put up a fight as he was taken into custody at around 4 p.m.

The website reports that after questioning the suspect, police officers decided he needed to be evaluated at a hospital. He has not been charged with any crime yet.

This is not the first time “Shake It Off” Swift had issues with fans taking their love for her to the next level.

In March 2014, Swift obtained a restraining order against Timothy Sweet. She filed legal documents claiming Sweet had reportedly bombarded her with emails, letters and social media posts professing his love for her and claiming they were married.

One message allegedly read: “My wife, Taylor Swift  and I live in Beverly Hills. I am in love with her. In conclusion, we treat each other with dignity and respect. I will carry a gun to protect her the rest of my life.”

A judge ordered Sweet to stay at least 100 yards away from the singer for the next three years. He is also believed to have been forbidden from going anywhere near Swift’s parents.

Sweet is not the only person to have a restraining order against Swift.  In 2014, 38-year-old Massachusetts man Daniel Cole was charged with trespassing onto Swift’s Rhode Island vacation home.
