Yaya Toure could earn £30 million per season by leaving Manchester City for a Chinese Super League club in the summer, according to the Daily Telegraph.
The Ivory Coast midfielder's future at the Etihad Stadium is in doubt following confirmation of Pep Guardiola's arrival at the end of the season, with the coach having sold Toure at Barcelona.
The Telegraph claims associates of Toure's have insisted he wants to stay at City but he could be forced out if Guardiola decides to invest in a significant new signing in his position.
Three Chinese clubs, including Jiangsu Suning, have expressed an interest in the 32-year-old and could make him the third-highest paid player in the world after Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
