Jose Mourinho has agreed in principle a three-year deal worth £15 million to take charge at Manchester United next season, according to the Daily Mirror.
The former Chelsea boss has been strongly linked with the Old Trafford post since his sacking in December.
Mourinho and United have reportedly now decided on personal terms and the coach wants to bring Atletico Madrid sporting director Andrea Berta with him.
Berta is highly rated on the back of his work alongside Diego Simeone and would allow executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward to concentrate on United's commercial activity rather than the signing of new players.
